The temperature on Mars can vary greatly , from very cold night s to very hot days , so I would need to be prepared for both extrem es . \n \n One of the biggest challeng es I would face living on Mars is the lack of resources . There is no water on the surface of Mars , so I would need to bring all of my water with me . The same goes for o xygen , which would be very difficult to produce on the planet . I would also need to be very careful about my food supply , as it would be very difficult to grow cro ps on the Mart ian soil . \n \n An other challenge would be the long distance from Earth .
